These terms explain how Exam Mindset Application Review Support works, what is included, and what candidates should understand before submitting materials.

Effective date: To be confirmed before launch

This page describes Exam Mindset's application review service terms. It is provided for clarity and is not legal advice.

1. Overview

Application Review Support is an optional service designed to help certification candidates improve the clarity, completeness, structure, and alignment of their application materials before submission.

The service is intended to support the candidate’s preparation. It does not replace PMI®’s application process, eligibility review, or final decision-making.

2. What the service includes

  • Review of uploaded application documents
  • Editing suggestions to improve clarity and structure
  • Feedback on completeness and alignment with certification expectations
  • Returned reviewed document or feedback file
  • Summary message from the review team
  • Eligibility-related observations where applicable

3. What the service does not include

  • No guarantee of PMI® application approval
  • No guarantee of certification eligibility
  • No guarantee of passing the exam
  • No creation of false or exaggerated experience
  • No submission to PMI® on behalf of the candidate
  • No official PMI® review
  • No legal, immigration, employment, or academic advice

4. Candidate responsibility

Candidates are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted in their application is accurate, truthful, complete, and based on their own experience. Exam Mindset may help improve wording, structure, and clarity, but the candidate remains fully responsible for the final application submitted to PMI®.

5. Eligibility confirmation

Before submitting an application review request, candidates may be asked to confirm that they meet the stated eligibility criteria for the selected certification. If the review team believes the candidate does not appear to meet the relevant eligibility requirements, the candidate may be advised not to proceed and may be eligible for a refund according to the Refund Policy.

6. File uploads

Candidates may upload PDF, DOC, or DOCX files, subject to file type and size limits. Candidates should only upload documents they are authorized to share.

Users must not upload:

  • malicious files
  • unlawful content
  • confidential third-party documents without permission
  • content they do not have the right to share
  • passwords or payment card details

7. File privacy and storage

Application review files are stored in private storage and are accessible only to the candidate and authorized Exam Mindset administrators/reviewers needed to provide the service. Files are not public and are not shared with training vendors or referral partners.

8. Review turnaround

The expected turnaround is shown on the selected certification page, commonly 48 hours, but may vary based on request volume, file complexity, weekends, holidays, technical issues, or incomplete submissions. Turnaround begins after the required files and information are successfully submitted.

9. Review outcomes

After review, the candidate may receive:

  • a reviewed/edited file
  • written feedback
  • clarification notes
  • improvement suggestions
  • eligibility-related observations if applicable

The review team may request additional information if the submitted materials are incomplete or unclear.

10. No PMI® approval guarantee

Application Review Support does not guarantee PMI® approval, eligibility acceptance, exam eligibility, or certification award. PMI® makes the final decision on application acceptance, eligibility, audits, and certification status.

11. Refunds for application review

Refund eligibility for Application Review Support is described in the Refund Policy.

In general, a refund may be considered if:

  • the review has not started
  • files were not uploaded
  • the review team determines that the candidate does not appear to meet eligibility requirements

If review work has already started or reviewed materials have been delivered, the service may not be refundable.

12. Candidate revisions

Application Review Support may include feedback and edited materials based on the submitted documents. Additional revisions, resubmissions, or expanded review requests may require a new application review request unless otherwise agreed by Exam Mindset.

13. Ethical use

Candidates must not use the service to fabricate experience, misrepresent work, inflate responsibilities, or submit inaccurate information. Exam Mindset may refuse or cancel requests that appear to involve unethical or misleading application content.

14. Service availability

Application Review Support may be available only for selected certifications and may be enabled or disabled by Exam Mindset at any time. Pricing, turnaround, and availability may vary by certification.
